Some people have asked what is the key to mental clarity....or as I like to define it in simple terms as CONFIDENCE.

The answer is preparation, and this goes for just about amything...

You see, your mind is an instrument or tool and in order to tune this tool, you need to prepare.

How do I prepare?

Well, I simply take time off to RELAX.

  • Sit quietly in a room all alone and breathe deeply
  • Take time to be alone so there are no other distractions to think about
  • I know from my own personal experiences that being relaxed is a vital part of who am I and how I see my world
  • Relaxation is the key to success, in whatever area of life
  • Face it, if you're irritable, uptight and tense, your breathing is shallow and life energy is very low and powerless
  • Other people automatically sense this lower energy level and so they mirror your thoughts and feelings
  • They become tense...

If you can learn to relax and let it go without effort, others will positively respond to you in ways you can only imagine.

They will see you in a different light...

Whenever I've a really important task or event, what I've found to be totally effective is to prepare yourself the night before.

I relax and visualizes the result I wants.

Yes, I run movies in my head and then study the mental imagery or action plan to prepare my mind.

What is personal power or empowerment?

Power is a fascinating and often misunderstood concept, read on to find out more...

In general, power involves the capacity to cause something to happen, and effect change.

Some people often misunderstand and mistake force with power.

OK. So really...what is personal power?

And more importantly what are the dangers of using force instead of power?

Now, let me ask you a two prong question: "Why do you think personal power will benefit you and why is it necessary to develop being powerful?"

Interesting, isn't it?

Well, allow me to entertain this thought and discuss why it's not about force, pushing or fighting.

Many people assume that to accomplish anything meaningful requires going into battle. In other words, it demands pushing yourself or using force.

Force is energy and it can certainly prove to be an effective tool, especially in the short run.

Having said that, applying force isn't going to allow you to flow because it is distorted thinking to believe that force is required.

Look, it is as simple as that...

It is true that force, whether used in relationships, or in a work situation or even when attempting change yourself can work for a time, and in fact work quite well.

Here's the difference...force creates counter force and then locks you in when these two forces collide.

In work or relationships, the counter force generally takes the form of resistance.

This manifests into disagreements or outright hostility, cloaked in gossip, passive aggressive acts and quiet resistance.

Using this kind of forcefulness is counter productive because force is the stubborn side of the personality that wants what it wants when it wants it and isn't happy about not getting its way.

The problem is that results of these actions (based on force) leavethe user in a mental state of vulnerability, because people never feel satisfied, even if they win, there is guilt associated with it.

No doubt about it, this is due to the high emotional costs that comes with the 'win'...

Let's break this down and delve a little deeper and understand the reason why people choose to use 'brute' force:
  • Simply, it works, it's easy and indeed effective
  • Some people find it easier to hit and punch when they want something
  • Instead of using words to express themselves, they use force
  • Forceful people feel that the ends justify the means
  • Force accomplished their mission or objective
  • Force gives people the power or permission to yell
  • Be annoyed
  • Use other forceful measures in the name of what they want

In other words"mission accomplished"...

Think about it and compare the end results.

On the other hand, when you let go and accept the facts...you then quickly rise above the pain, the heart ache, anguish, depression and unhappiness.
You give yourself a reason to stop struggling and get past the "I'm a failure hurdle."
When you give yourself the authority to say:
  1. "I've the strength, power and courage to rise above the uncertainty and move on to reach my goals..."
  2. You're actually moving forward.
  3. Now, if you make a mistake...you simply change course and go in the other direction, but you keep moving.
  4. If you continue to do this, you'll begin to focus on what you can do and not what you can't.
  5. Your brain automatically redirects its thoughts on all your abilities and accomplishments.
Reaffirms the sweet victories:
  1. "If I could do that - then for certain I can do this."
  2. Mistakes are nothing more than corrective feedback, the window of opportunity to see a much better result.
  3. The stepping stone to mastering your circumstances rather than having them master you.

Make a choice to move in a NEW direction.

    Huh?

    How cool is that?

    If you'd like to learn the fastest and easiest way to lose weight, then this will be the most important message you ever read...

    Sound good?

    You may be thinking, "Johni, if your secret is that simple and powerful, then what stops most people from enjoying the kind of health they really want?"

    Do you ever wonder why you do certain things or react a certain way?

    The reason being hat people generally focus more mental energy on what is not right instead of what is...

    Everyone has essentially the same problem.

    Yeah, that's right you, but it's not your fault.

    Ok...then, what you have are "default's"...self-limiting beliefs and negative thinking this will sink you like a torpedo.

    That's bit of a tongue twister, but the emotional and mental struggles that few if anyone ever discuss...what I mean is this "default" mode is your software program, well, it's the same thing like a computer.

    When you first came into this world you are set at "default" mode...and from the very beginning every word you hear and every action you observe means you've been programmed.

    You see, in the first seven years of your life your whole perception of reality is shaped by your environment and your ability to make decisions is also created...

    You know this to be the same scenario with your PC because when you first turn on your new computer, the "default" settings are automatically triggered....right?

    How would you like to give yourself the gift of a "new life program"...

    Like for example when it comes to your health and fitness do you find yourself saying:



    • How can I become motivated?
    • What foods work and what "diets" are doomed to fail?
    • How can I create a lifestyle of abundance and health?
    • Am I too old or out-of-shape to even start?
    • Am I strong enough to see it through?

    So in other words you must continuously update your settings and even invest in other programs to maximize the potential of your computer.

    Oh, my gosh!

    A total reversal of the way you would've been without updating your default mode.

    It's true, right?

    There are many software defaults, bugs or program conflicts that occur in software and the same thing applies to your thinking...

    • Doubt
    • Fear
    • Procrastination, etc

    If you're skeptical, these are three quick examples of some of your "automatic defaults" that are programmed during the first seven years of your learning existence.

    These defaults take away your power to move you into action.

    So, when you are about to expand your thinking or take a bold new step into the unknown, you automatically go into default mode...

    • Fear
    • Doubt
    • Procrastination, etc.

    Your automatic defaults kick-in!

    That little voice in your head is telling you to stick to what you know and not to step outside your comfort zone.

    This is why you must consistently update your "defaults" just like you upgrade your computer systems.

    Is it possible?

    How?

    It is a very simple, yet highly powerful method...you can use a surprisingly simple shortcut.

    You can choose to upgrade your defaults (remodel) by reading and/or listening to personal development material daily, investing in coaching with someone that has done what you want to do.

    Modeling is an easy shortcut to massive results fast...

    These are automatic upgrades to your system that will not allow you to fall into that default mode when encountering a challenging situation.

    Don't be fooled by your age, or the many excuses people will make to avoid starting because defaults have nothing to do with being fit and healthy.

    Defy the odds and take your first baby steps in accomplishing those things you want most in life, go for it and make it happen today!
